The Forbidden City & old hutongs

紫禁城与老胡同

Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City with your private guide, then the view over the golden palace roofs from Jingshan Park. Afternoon rickshaw ride through the hutongs with a visit to a traditional courtyard home.

私人导游陪同游览天安门广场与故宫，登景山俯瞰紫禁城金色屋顶。下午乘人力车穿行老胡同，走进四合院人家。

Day 3

The Great Wall at Mutianyu

慕田峪长城

Drive out to Mutianyu, one of the most scenic and least crowded sections of the Great Wall, with cable car access to the ramparts. Return via the Temple of Heaven, where locals gather for tai chi and music.

前往风景优美、游客相对较少的慕田峪长城，乘缆车登城漫步。返程游览天坛，感受市民晨练、太极与戏曲的生活气息。

Chapter 02 · Day 4–5

Capital of thirteen dynasties and the gateway to the Silk Road. 十三朝古都，丝绸之路的起点。

Bullet train to the ancient capital

高铁前往千年古都

Travel by high-speed train to Xi'an, capital of thirteen dynasties and the starting point of the Silk Road. At sunset, walk or cycle along the intact Ming-dynasty city wall, then explore the lively Muslim Quarter.

乘高铁前往十三朝古都、丝绸之路起点西安。傍晚在保存完好的明城墙上漫步或骑行，随后走进热闹的回民街品尝地道小吃。

The Terracotta Army

秦始皇兵马俑

A full morning with the Terracotta Warriors, the 2,200-year-old army guarding China's first emperor, explained in depth by your guide. Afternoon at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda; evening dumpling banquet and Tang-dynasty dance show.

深度参观拥有两千二百多年历史的秦始皇兵马俑，由导游详细讲解。下午游览大雁塔，晚上享用饺子宴并观赏唐乐舞表演。

Fly to Zhangjiajie

飞往张家界

Morning at the Shaanxi History Museum, then a flight to Zhangjiajie in the green mountains of Hunan. Transfer to Wulingyuan, gateway to the national park, and settle into your hotel among the peaks.

上午参观陕西历史博物馆，随后飞往湖南张家界。前往国家森林公园所在的武陵源，入住群山环抱中的酒店。

Day 7

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

张家界国家森林公园

A full day in the UNESCO World Heritage park. Ride the Bailong Elevator up the cliff face to Yuanjiajie, where thousands of sandstone pillars rise from the mist — the inspiration for the floating mountains in Avatar. Afternoon walk along the Golden Whip Stream.

全天游览世界自然遗产张家界国家森林公园。乘百龙天梯直上袁家界，数千座砂岩峰柱在云雾中拔地而起，正是电影《阿凡达》悬浮山的灵感来源。下午漫步金鞭溪。

Day 8

Tianmen Mountain

天门山

Ride one of the world's longest cable cars up Tianmen Mountain, walk the glass skywalk clinging to the cliff and gaze up at Tianmen Cave, a natural arch high in the rock face reached by 999 steps.

乘坐世界上最长的索道之一登上天门山，漫步悬于绝壁之上的玻璃栈道，仰望999级台阶之上的天然穿山溶洞“天门洞”。

Chapter 04 · Day 9–12

Fly to Shanghai. In the evening, stroll the historic Bund as the Lujiazui skyline lights up across the Huangpu River.

飞往上海。傍晚漫步外滩万国建筑群，欣赏黄浦江对岸陆家嘴天际线华灯初上。

Yu Garden

Day 10

Classic garden to modern skyline

从古典园林到摩天都市

The Yu Garden and old town bazaar in the morning, then the plane-tree streets of the former French Concession and Xintiandi. End the day high above the city at the Shanghai Tower observation deck.

上午游览豫园与城隍庙老街，下午漫步梧桐掩映的老法租界与新天地。傍晚登上上海中心观光厅俯瞰全城。

Day 11

Water town of Zhujiajiao

朱家角水乡

An excursion to Zhujiajiao, a 1,700-year-old water town of stone bridges and canals. Glide through the old streets by wooden boat, then return to Shanghai for a farewell dinner.

前往拥有一千七百年历史的朱家角古镇，乘木船穿行于石桥与水巷之间。傍晚返回上海，享用告别晚宴。
